Clockout tonight and The Bug Weekender!

As we prepare the world for aural armageddon in the form of The Bug's incredible new album London Zoo (due for release on Tues July 29th), we're cooking up a proper Bug infestation of Montreal.

1. Clockout! is happening tonight - Friday (July 25th) - at Casa del Popolo (4872 St-Laurent) with the ever-rocking residents Sweet Daddy Luv & Tashish (ahem, moi) sandwiching our special guest The Bug from the UK, who will grace us with a special one-off dj set guaranteed to rattle the bassbins and set the dancefloor on fiyaaah. Expect a fine melange of digital hiphop, dubstep, and dancehall (triple D). A special night with a $5 cover.

2. Turbocrunk brings you that regular dose of nasty low lean heats every month at Coda (4119 St-Laurent) with the sickest producer / live PA teams in Montreal - Megasoid, Mofomotronix, Lunice & Blingmod. The Bug will bring a special warm-up live set alongside mic assassin Flowdan. $5 for the experience (check out the sick-ass 'A Millie' Megasoid rework here:

3. Once you've had a few days to recover, get your ass to Zoobizzarre (6388 St-Hubert) on Tuesday July 29th, for the official London Zoo album launch party, presented by Ninja Tune and Pop Montreal. This will be a full-on live set from The Bug (as opposed to his dj set) and will feature Flowdan and the first-ever Montreal appearance of the regal Warrior Queen. Apocalyptic dancehall never sounded so good (nor as loud). Local bass freak favorites will be supporting (including a Special Ninja Tune guest) plus Luv schooling y'all on the dubstep. Doors are 9 PM, The Bug is on at 11 PM, $12 at the door only. Get there early, as we anticipate this will get packed FAST.

Bassbins set to ATTACK!
