Welcome to my personal Web site. My name is Patrick White and I am a journalist living in Montreal, Quebec. I was born in Quebec City in April 1970 and am of Irish descent. In the past 18 years, I have worked as a producer-reporter for CTV News in Canada and as a senior journalist for the Reuters news agency (Quebec City, Montreal, Paris and London) and deputy news editor for The Canadian Press (CP) news agency. I am a also a DJ, as well as being the author of the book "The CNN Village, the crisis of international news agencies", published by the University of Montreal Press. An English version of the book is available on request for US $30 (plus shipping and handling). This website, which attracts some 80,000 visitors a month, offers information about the Quebec cultural scene, the media, the international news agencies in general and the Quebec's and Montreal's alternative music scene.
